In the News:
Former Marine Chris Everhart was attacked by a black bear while camping with his sons in Chattahoochee National Forest. He couldn't get to his pistol. He killed it with a chunk of firewood. The Forest Service fined him $75.
This is the baddest dude since another former Marine, 62-year-old Dale "I got scratched up pretty good" Rippy, strangled a rabid bobcat.
I want to be on whatever team those guys are on.

I freely admit being a wimp. Hornets make me run and scream like a little Japanese girl being chased by Godzilla. I can almost guarantee that I couldn't grab a squirrel and hold on while it clawed away, let alone a wildcat.
Thought a few others might enjoy the tidbits of information I collect here and there. You'll have to tolerate an occasional curmudgeonly rant about politicians, lawyers, bureaucrats, wastefulness, welfare parasites and victim mentalities, though.
